Hyde Park Road makes its way to Ski Santa Fe, passing by Big Tesuque Campground, and then the famous Aspen Vista Trailhead. I started this painting at the Big Tesuque Campground, facing the sharp turn of Hyde Park Road where it crosses Tesuque Creek. I love this drive in both winter and summer, for the many activities it brings and for the change in flora and climate as you move up in elevation.
