Gooseberry Mesa
This was painted while camping at Gooseberry Mesa, which overlooks Zion National Park. The views were vast, with layer upon layer of mesas rimming the desert floor far below. The view changed dramatically as the sun made its way across the sky and the shadows grew long, highlighting the cragginess of the rock walls,
